Five People Arrested In Riyadh With A Huge Cache Of Narcotic Pills

In Riyadh, five people, including two Saudis and three Syrians, were arrested with a huge cache of narcotic pills. Hidden inside a shipment of watermelons, they attempted to smuggle in 765,000 amphetamine tablets.

On Wednesday, Muhammad Al-Nujaidi, a spokesman for the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, reported that security forces followed up on drug smuggling gangs targeting the youth and security of the Kingdom, resulting in the seizure of 765,000 amphetamine tablets hidden inside watermelon in Riyadh.

In addition to being arrested, all the accused were referred to the Public Prosecution for initial legal actions.
