Fake Hajj Websites Are Warned Against By The Ministry
Category: Saudi Arabia

According to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, people who wish to perform Hajj from within the Kingdom should stay away from suspicious websites claiming to help them register for Hajj.

According to the ministry, it will announce the Hajj procedures for the 2022 season via its official website soon.

A fixed quota will be allotted to each country under the ministry's announcement that it will increase pilgrims from inside and outside the Kingdom to one million this year.

According to an earlier announcement by the ministry, 85 percent of pilgrims performing Hajj this year will be foreigners. Hajj will be performed by 850,000 foreign pilgrims and by 150,000 domestic pilgrims.

Foreign pilgrims permitted this year represent only 45.2 percent of the actual quota of pilgrims allotted to each country before the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic.

For this year's Hajj, the Ministry of Hajj has outlined certain terms and conditions for foreign pilgrims. Pilgrims older than 65 are prohibited from performing the pilgrimage and must receive two doses of the Coronavirus vaccine.
