The Public Transport Authority of Saudi Arabia has announced that all workers and drivers in public transport services, like trains and buses, must be immunized by taking the doses of Coronavirus vaccine, effective from 13th May.
In case of non-compliance with the announcement, a PCR test result showing non-infection of Covid-19 is required to submit every 7 days at the expense of the company, where they are working.
- The authority called all operators and carriers of public transport to initiate vaccination of their employees well before the date of mandatory enforcement of the directive reports Saudi Gazette.
- Today, The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing also announced the mandatory coronavirus vaccination of workers at restaurants, cafes, food outlets, barbershops and beauty saloons, starting from 13th May.
- Earlier this, The Ministry of Sports has directed all Gyms and Sports centers, to vaccinate workers in Gyms and Sports centers in the Kingdom, starting from 1st Shawwal, 1442, or to submit a negative (PCR) test result of Corona virus every 7 days.
- The Ministry of Health said that Coronavirus vaccine centers are available in all regions of Saudi Arabia and that it continues to receive Saudi nationals and expatriates to obtain the vaccine, those who registered with Sehhaty app will be administered with the vaccine doses as per the scheduled dates of appointments.
