The Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced that work contracts will be approved and documented only on the Qiwa platform. Starting on 12th May, Qiwa platform will be approved for approving and documenting work contracts.
A Qiwa platform explained that the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development is coordinating with all relevant government departments to streamline the process of employee registration, documenting and implementing work contracts in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice, and registering employees in the GOSI through a unified platform for the strong Business sector.
According to the platform, work is currently underway to gradually transfer all contracts documented in GOSI, as well as Madad, to Qiwa. Because of Qiwa's priority in documenting contracts, all work contracts become more clear and reliable.
Earlier this year, Qiwa stated that the inclusion of a contract documentation and management service was to address the issue of drafting, managing, and documenting the functional contract, which is the link between companies and employees, thus, preserving the rights of both parties.
- This service is intended to help employees and employers document the contract online in order to protect their rights and make sure that it complies with laws and regulations, as well as to expand its provisions to include various civil and labor rights, including working hours, statements, and financial benefits.
