An Individual Who Bets On A Passport Faces Fines And A Travel Ban
Category: Saudi Arabia

On Wednesday, the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) warned against betting on passports. In addition to a fine, a penalty could even reach the level of a travel ban if the passport is bet on. The Jawazat confirmed this.

According to the Jawazat, a person who loses his passport should notify the nearest embassy or his representatives in the kingdom.

The Jawazat has stated earlier that travelers are required to ensure that the remaining validity of their passports is not less than three months while traveling to GCC states and Arab countries.

Those who wish to travel to other countries should ensure that the validity period of their passports is at least six months.
