Vehicle Registration Can Be Done Without Technical Inspection

There’s some good news for all those whose vehicle registration (Istamara) renewal is around the corner as they can do it via the "Absher" electronic platform sans Motor Vehicle Periodic Inspection (MVPI) certificate, Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday quoting a statement from the General Department of Traffic.
According to the statement, the move is part the efforts undertaken by the government in combating the coronavirus pandemic in the Kingdom and in order to ensure the sustainable access of citizens and residents to all services, and to facilitate them.
