Police in Jizan arrested two Arab nationals accused of using stolen ATM cards to withdraw more than SR 200,000 from an ATM machine in the city.
The Jizan Police spokesperson Captain Nayef Al-Hakami said the two men were caught red-handed by field patrols when they suspected two vehicles parked next to a bank branch in the city.
The suspects carried out several withdrawal operations before they were arrested.
The police seized SR 225,600 in cash with the suspects and 145 stolen ATM cards.
The two suspects were held in custody before they were referred to Public Prosecution.
For his part, Jizan Police Director, Major General Massad bin Munir Al-Morshedi thanked the security patrols and praised their constant vigilance and called for doubling efforts.
