In Saudi Arabia, the General Directorate of Traffic (Moroor) stressed that vehicle plates must be installed in the designated locations.
According to Saudi Moroor's Twitter account, failure to install the standard number plate in its designated place is a traffic violation. The fine for this violation may range from 1,000 to 2,000 riyals.
To facilitate traffic, Saudi Moroor called on everyone to stick to designated lanes on the road and use indicators while changing lanes.
Earlier this week, Moroor explained that while driving, it is important to have necessary equipment in the vehicle such as lights, brakes, indicators, and door locks, since it improves safety in traffic.
Previously, Saudi Moroor received an inquiry on its official Twitter asking: What are the procedures for issuing a temporary driving permit to a 17-year-old?
In response to the question, Saudi Moroor clarified that in order to drive a vehicle and issue a driving permit, the following is required.
* Completion of 17 years.
* Bring personal photos.
* You must undergo a medical examination and submit an application to the driving school.
Requirements for issuing driving license :
1. Completion of the age of 18 years.
2. A court ruling must not have found the applicant guilty of drug use, distribution, or possession.
3. Diseases and disabilities that hinder driving should be prevented.
4. Pass the driving test.
5. Pay the fees.
6. Settling the violations, if any
7. For expatriates, a regular iqama is must.
Driving License Renewal Procedure :
* Payment of fees and fines
* Carry out a medical test.
* Renewal of licenses through Absher individuals is possible
* Non-renewal of driving license fine.
