Saudi Calls On Iran To Cooperate With Nuclear Inspectors
Saudi Arabia called on Iran to fully cooperate with nuclear inspection teams monitoring its atomic energy activities.
The Kingdom has confirmed its support for the work of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) after one of its inspectors was briefly prevented from leaving Iran last week.
The appeal came in a speech delivered by Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan, the Saudi ambassador to Austria and the Kingdom’s permanent representative to the UN and international organizations in Vienna, during a special session of the IAEA board of governors.
Praising the IAEA inspectors’ professionalism and transparency, Prince Abdullah stressed the need for Tehran to immediately cooperate with the agency in providing the information it required.
