People of Saudi Arabia began celebrating the 92nd National Day with patriotic fervor, euphoria, and enthusiasm.
As part of the country's National Day celebrations on Friday, national flags and posters of King Salman, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, have been displayed on all roads and public places throughout Riyadh and other major cities.
As hundreds of thousands of citizens came out to celebrate the great day of national pride, green flags floated in small and large cities and governorates across the Kingdom.
Every government building, public place, and square, as well as many homes and cars, display the national flag. The flag serves as a symbol of patriotism, love, and loyalty to the country and its leaders.
Different regions of the Kingdom are holding a variety of festivities. Thousands of Saudis and expatriates around the world are participating in the celebrations.
Throughout the Kingdom, the largest celebrations in its history are currently taking place. The General Entertainment Authority (GEA) chairman Turki Al-Sheikh launched the nine-day celebrations under the slogan "It Is Our Home" on Sept. 17.
In 13 major cities across the Kingdom, Saudi fighter jets, military aircraft, and civilian aircraft will take part in the largest air show in the Kingdom's history under the slogan "A homeland salute.".
In 14 cities, the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) is conducting air shows with Typhoon, F-155, Tornado, and F-15 C aircraft.
Cirque Du Soleil began staging mesmerizing performances in Riyadh's Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University theater on Wednesday in celebration of this year's National Day. “The Wealth of a Homeland” is the title of the four-day event.
