Fourth Batch of Pilgrims Welcomed in Madinah
A fourth batch of pilgrims hosted under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit has arrived in Madinah. This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s commitment to facilitating religious journeys for Muslims worldwide.
250 Pilgrims from 14 Countries Join the Program
The current batch consists of 250 men and women from 14 countries across South Asia, Central Asia, and Australia. The participating countries include:
- South Asia: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives
- Central Asia: Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Georgia
- Australia & New Zealand: Australia, New Zealand
- Other: Russia
This program is part of the broader initiative by the Saudi government to host 1,000 male and female pilgrims from 66 countries in 2025. The pilgrims will be received in four groups throughout the year.
Comprehensive Religious and Cultural Program
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has arranged an enriching itinerary for the guest pilgrims, including:
Religious Visits:
- Rawdah Al-Sharifah at the Prophet’s Mosque
- Quba Mosque, the first mosque in Islam
- Uhud Martyrs’ Cemetery, commemorating those who fell in the Battle of Uhud
Cultural and Educational Visits:
- King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an
- International Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization
Journey to Makkah for Umrah
After completing their religious and cultural activities in Madinah, the pilgrims will travel to Makkah Al-Mukarramah to perform the sacred Umrah rituals at the Grand Mosque.
