The Human Resources Development Fund “Hadaf” confirmed that all private sector establishments can benefit from the “employment support” initiative, to support the wages of Saudis and Saudi women who were employed in all jobs and occupations in the private sector, from the date of July 1, 2019, unless the facility was stopped by the Ministry of Resources Human and Social Development or the Human Resources Development Fund “Hadaf”.

The fund indicated that the support starts from 30% to 50% of the employee’s monthly wage for two years, and includes those who were employed after the beginning of July 2019 “retroactively”, as well as new and future employment, and that the wage ranges between 4000 and 15 thousand riyals.

Establishments get 10% additional support when hiring females, persons with disabilities, and when hiring in non-major cities, and in small and medium enterprises, for each of the categories mentioned, provided that the maximum support does not exceed 50% of the employee’s monthly wage, or 3000 riyals, whichever Less.

Private sector enterprises can register online and benefit from the initiative, by entering the initiative page on the national portal for work «TAQAT» via the link: https://www.taqat.sa/web/guestemployer/employment-subsidy-program and activating the «Employment Support Program », Then create a new support request, add the application data and the employees to be supported, then save the request and send the information; after that the request is received by the fund and to ensure that the facility meets the controls and provide support to them.

It is expected that more than 80 thousand male and female citizens will benefit from this initiative, as it comes as one of the initiatives that the Fund recently launched as part of government support initiatives to enable private sector enterprises and ensure their stability and development of their performance, in light of the current exceptional economic situation, and the impact of the effects of the Corona Virus «COVID- 19 ».

Goal allocated 1 billion riyals to implement the initiative, as part of a support initiatives package amounting to about 5.3 billion riyals, announced by the fund to support the employment, training and empowerment of Saudi and Saudi women across 4 tracks, stressing that it will provide full support to the facilities based on effective strategic partnership with the private sector to enable it to resettle.
