Foreigners arriving in Saudi Arabia on a visit visa for tourism cannot work in the Kingdom or perform Umrah during the Hajj season without a Hajj visa.
A tourist on a visitor visa must comply with seven obligations, according to the Kingdom's visa regulations, Al-Watan reported.
One-entry visas are valid for three months, with the condition that the stay does not exceed one month.
During its period of validity, a multiple entry visa is valid for one year, provided it is not used for more than three months at a time. SR300 is the visa fee.
For tourists holding a visit visa, there are seven main requirements.
The visa holders must comply with the Kingdom's rules and regulations; they must carry their identification documents at all times, and they must fulfill the primary purpose for which the visa was issued.
As a result of the requirements, visa holders can only perform Hajj on a Hajj visa; they cannot perform Umrah during the Hajj season, which is determined by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah; they cannot engage in paid or unpaid work, and the visa holder must adhere to the validity of the visa and the permitted stay period.
