King Fahd Causeway saw huge tailbacks on new year’s eve.
Social media users posted photos and video recordings which show long queues heading to Bahrain as they were moving slowly, reported Almarsd.
Officials representing relevant authorities from both countries went to the causeway to ease the congestion and facilitate the movement of traffic.
No statistics were released about the number of vehicles and visitors who flocked to Bahrain as the world was welcoming the New Year 2020.
