Details of the Violations
Airlines Fines
Among the 111 infractions reported for the second quarter of 2024, 92 were against airlines for failing to adhere to passenger rights regulations, resulting in fines amounting to 4.4 million Saudi Riyals. Additionally, there were 5 infractions by air carriers for not following GACA's rules, with fines totaling SR140,000.
Enterprise Violations
Two licensed enterprises faced fines of SR30,000 each for not complying with the authority's guidelines on licensed activities.
Individual Offenses
A total of 12 individuals were fined 3,900 Saudi Riyals for various offenses, including 10 caught on camera aboard aircraft and 2 for unauthorized drone use. The total fine for individual offenses was SR10,000.
