The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), has begun to ease the return of health practitioners stranded abroad to Saudi Arabia, noting that this comes in light of the circular sent to all foreign airlines operating in the Kingdom's airports.

The sources pointed out that the decision to return these stranded, stipulated that they get a valid return visa, or permission from the Saudi Arabia's representatives abroad.

The decision comes within the framework of implementing the Kingdom’s directives to facilitate the return of health practitioners stranded abroad, according to Article 23 of the Civil Aviation Law issued by Royal Decree, as well as the recommendations coming after the minutes of the meeting to facilitate the task of returning health practitioners Stuck outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to the sources, the decision also includes facilitating the return of health practitioners accompanies as recorded in the residence like dependents, as well as domestic workers, who work for non-Saudi health practitioners.
