Four Members Of Cocaine Smuggling Gang Arrested In Riyadh

The Riyadh Police's Criminal Investigation Department has arrested a Nigerian national and three Saudi citizens who were part of a gang involved in the smuggling and sale of cocaine. The authorities seized 2.2 kilograms of cocaine during the operation, which targeted the Jeddah governorate and the city of Riyadh.

One of the gang members, a Nigerian based in Jeddah, was found to be involved in the smuggling of cocaine. Meanwhile, a Saudi citizen led a gang of two other citizens who carried out the sale of cocaine in Riyadh using organized criminal methods.

In addition to the cocaine, the police also seized a sum of money. The arrested gang members were referred to the competent authorities and legal measures were taken against them.

The authorities have urged Saudi citizens and expatriates to report any suspicious activities related to drug smuggling or sale by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 in the rest of the Saudi regions. They can also report to the General Directorate of Narcotic Control (GNDC) via the number 995 or email [email protected]. All such reports will be treated confidentially.
