Expat Gang Robbed Bank Customers At Gunpoint In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

According to the Saudi Ministry of Interior, Riyadh police have arrested a gang of expats accused of robbing bank customers at gunpoint.

The arrested men were Ethiopian, Syrian, and Bangladeshi, according to the Ministry. In violation of the Kingdom's borders, five Ethiopians have entered the country.

At gunpoint, the five Ethiopians robbed the bank customers of all their money. Additionally, the Ministry said it arrested 4 Ethiopians and Syrians, as well as 2 Bangladeshis, for harboring and providing SIM cards to the violators.

According to the Ministry, the arrested people used 4 stolen vehicles, confirming that the cars were recovered. In addition, 387 SIM cards and weapons were seized from the suspects by the Ministry.

Saudi Gazette reported that the Riyadh police referred the men to the Public Prosecution after taking preliminary legal measures against them.
