Suleiman Al-Khamis, the official spokesperson of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in Saudi Arabia, said all branches were instructed to hold Eid Al-Fitr prayers in all mosques in the Kingdom without exception.
Earlier, Eid prayers were held in a limited number of mosques, so some turned to praying on the streets and between cars, especially women. Thus, the Ministry saw the need to perform prayers in all mosques in order to expand its citizens.
In addition, he added, the Minister of Islamic Affairs directed all branches to do their best to follow-up and implement to ease the burden and facilitate people.
