Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call, and Guidance, Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh, has issued a significant directive regarding the timing of Eid Al-Fitr prayers across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. According to the Umm Al-Qura calendar, Eid Al-Fitr prayers are to be held precisely 15 minutes after sunrise.

In a circular distributed to all branches of the ministry throughout the regions of the Kingdom, the minister emphasized the importance of adherence to this timing. Eid Al-Fitr prayers are to take place not only at designated open prayer grounds but also in all mosques, except those adjacent to prayer grounds. Additionally, mosques in certain towns and village centers, where Eid prayers are not customarily held, are included in the directive.

Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh underscored the necessity of early preparations for the Eid Al-Fitr prayers. This includes ensuring that all designated prayer grounds and mosques are equipped with the necessary services, such as maintenance, cleaning, and operational facilities. These measures aim to facilitate worshipers in performing their Eid rituals with utmost ease and comfort.

The minister's directive aligns with the unwavering support provided by the wise leadership, emphasizing the importance of caring for the houses of God. This commitment ensures that all necessary services are available, fostering an atmosphere of spirituality and piety conducive to the worshipers' spiritual experience.
