Automatic Monitoring Of Violations On Non Compliance With The Lanes Of Roads In Riyadh, Jeddah And Dammam

The General Traffic Department (Muroor) in Saudi Arabia announced the date of start of automatic monitoring of the violation of non-compliance with limit of the designated lanes on the roads in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.

The Muroor said monitoring of designated lanes on roads will begin after 7 days in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam cities. An Automatic smart monitoring devices developed by Saudi Company for Comprehensive Technical and Security Control "Hakam" will be used in monitoring the process and photograph the violating vehicles.

- The administration of Traffic department confirmed that, failure to follow to the boundaries of the specific lanes on roads is one of the traffic violation which can be resulted in traffic disruption and endangering the lives of others on the road.

- The Muroor said that automatic monitoring of this type of violations is only to preserve the safety of road users and pedestrians.
