Saudi Arabia's General Traffic Department (Moroor) has confirmed nine (9) places where vehicles cannot be parked or stopped.
According to Saudi Moroor, the following places in Saudi Arabia are prohibited for stopping or parking vehicles.
1. Crossings with Zebras or pedestrian crossings.
2. Traffic is traveling in reverse direction.
3. Within 15 meters of the traffic signal.
4. A few meters from school students' crossings.
5. Avoid standing in the middle of the road or across it.
6. Pedestrian sidewalks or footpaths.
7. On bridges.
8. Vehicles parked in special parking spaces.
9. Within 15 meters of a turn.
