A sentence of 20 years jail term and a fine of up to 1 million Saudi Riyals on those who found guilty of spreading and disclosing confidential information and documents in Saudi Arabia, The penalty is in line with the Saudi Arabia's Penal Law on Dissemination and Disclosure of Classified information and documents.
The Public Prosecution in Saudi Arabia issued a circular in implementing this effect, warning of circulating or disclosing any confidential classified information and documents in the Kingdom, It will be considering as major punishable crime.
- Anyone who found guilty of spreading and disclosing secret information and documents will face legal action with a sentence of 20 years prison and a fine upto 1 million riyals, state the Public Prosecution in its circular in the Kingdom.
- The Public Prosecution in its tweet said "The publication of confidential documents or information or the disclosure of any of them is prohibited, and it is considered one of the major crimes to be arrested.
