تتخذ حكومة المملكة العربية السعودية العديد من الإجراءات للحفاظ على الانضباط المروري بين السكان والمواطنين وتقليل عدد حوادث الطرق. معدل حوادث المرور والمخالفات المرورية مرتفع للغاية في المملكة العربية السعودية ، حيث تقوم وزارة النقل بوضع لوائح مرور صارمة حتى تتمكن من خفض معدل الوفيات الناجمة عن الحوادث. سجلت منظمة الصحة العالمية أكبر عدد من الإصابات البشرية بسبب حوادث الطرق.
