VFS Global Partners With Saudi Ministry Of Commerce For Visa Application Centre In Riyadh
Category: BUSINESS

VFS Global, a leading visa outsourcing and consular services provider, has entered into an agreement with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce to establish a visa application centre within its premises in Riyadh.

The centre aims to serve approximately 8,000 employees, delegates, and personnel from subsidiary government institutions under the Ministry. Additionally, VFS Global will offer a convenient 'visa at your doorstep' service, simplifying the application process by sending company staff to the applicant's preferred location.

Zubin Karkaria, Founder and CEO of VFS Global, expressed satisfaction in providing dedicated visa services to enhance the application experience for Ministry affiliates in a seamless and secure manner.

This collaboration reinforces VFS Global's status as a trusted partner to client governments in Saudi Arabia. It adds to the company's existing partnerships with prominent entities such as Aramco, Neom, and Chambers of Commerce.

In a recent interview, Karkaria discussed VFS Global's expansion plans in Saudi Arabia, noting the country's recovering demand post-2019. With heightened resilience and a strong propensity to travel, Saudi Arabia presents significant opportunities for growth.

Last year, VFS Global secured the global contract for overseas UK visa and Citizenship services. This year, the company will establish 240 Visa and Citizenship Application Service (VCAS) Centres in 142 countries, processing an estimated 3.8 million applicants annually across various regions.
