Three Saudi Films Listed In Arab Cinema Festival In Paris

The first Arab Cinema Festival will make its debut today, Thursday, in Paris, France.
The pan-Arab event is being organized by the Institute of the Arab World (Institut du Monde Arabe).
Saudi Arabia will have a marked presence, showcasing three films “Tongue”, Sweet” and “Fear”, directed respectively by Mohammed Al-Salman, Hana Al-Fasi and Maha Al-Sa’atai.
Saudi actress Fatima Al-Banawi has also been selected as a member the festival jury, alongside Moroccan Fawzi Al-Saeed and Egyptian producer Mohammed Hefdhi.
The newly-established Ministry of Culture has lined up a plan to promote the Saudi cinema talents at international events.
The festival jury selected three films out of 15 Saudi-made movies, directed budding talents.
