People will likely need to be vaccinated against the Corona virus (Covid-19) annually, explaining that the 3rd dose of the Corona vaccine may be required 12 months after the second dose said Pfizer CEO Albert Burla.
He said, people will possibly need a booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine within 12 months of receiving the full vaccination, pointing out that people are likely to need vaccination against the virus annually.
- He added that, it is very important to control people who may be susceptible to infection with the virus, and that vaccines will be an important tool in combating highly contagious diseases.
- Researchers still do not know how long protection against the virus lasts after the people fully vaccinated.
- It is reported that Pfizer previously requested the US Food and Drug Administration to allow it to expand the use of the Coronavirus vaccine, to include teenagers between the ages of 12 and 15.
