In Saudi Arabia, the Public Prosecution warned of the danger of involvement in commercial fraud crimes, which lead to arrests. Any practice intended to commit commercial fraud in relation to any product is prohibited by the prosecution.

It is a major crime if the adulterated product or the materials used in its fraud are harmful to the health and safety of humans or animals, according to the Public Prosecution.

In addition to the seller, the person who uses the product for his account, and the managers of companies, associations, institutions, and stores are responsible.

- According to Anti-commercial Fraud laws, a fraudulent product is one that has been altered or tampered in any way, that has lost something of its material or moral value after addition or removal, whether manufacturing or otherwise, or in its type, shape, element, quality, need, characteristics, source, or quantity, whether in weight, measure, size, number, energy or caliber.

Earlier this week the prosecution stated that this includes every product that does not comply with the approved standard specifications, and a spoiled product is any product that is no longer suitable for benefit, use, or consumption under the law.
