A group of rulings related to the infractions were issued by the authority, which is represented by the committee that reviews and decides on breaches of the Water Law's provisions that pertain to the authority's responsibility. The inspection authorities discovered the infractions and submitted them to the committee, after which the punitive measures were implemented.

Violation of Article 67 of the Water Law

The individuals in question have been found to have broken the Water Law's Article 67, namely paragraphs 12 and 14, which prohibit "connecting to the water and sewage network in an irregular manner" and "causing damage to the equipment and devices of the licensee."

Authority's Guidelines on Water Services

The authorities highlighted that one must follow the rules set out in the Water Law to acquire water and sanitation services. There was also a warning against water meter manipulation. In addition, the authority will keep conducting regular inspection tours to identify any actions that go against the Water Law and prosecute those responsible.
