High-tech advances in orthopedic surgery will be on show at the Saudi Orthopedic Association’s 9th scientific conference this week.
International speakers will discuss the latest scientific innovations in orthopedics and exchange experiences in the field with specialists from the Kingdom at the three-day forum, which begins on Saturday.
Abdul Aziz Al-Jurayyan, the association’s president and chairman of the organizing committee, said the conference will address recent research and technologies in orthopedics, and will include topics such as joint replacement surgery, sports medicine, bone fracture repairs and pediatric orthopedic surgery.
Workshops showing practical applications of orthopedic surgeries will also be held, while international companies will present the latest technologies available to surgeons.
Al-Jurayyan said that the conference reflects advances in health, medical training and scientific research in the Kingdom.
