In a groundbreaking move, Saudi Arabia has launched "KSA Visa (ksavisa.sa)," a unified visa platform aimed at simplifying the visa application process for various types. The Kingdom's government, envisioning increased global engagement, has strategically developed this platform, connecting over 30 agencies, ministries, and private sectors. Assistant Minister for Executive Affairs Abdulhadi Almansouri unveiled this initiative at the Digital Government Forum (DGF) in Riyadh.

The KSA Visa platform streamlines procedures for diverse visas, including Hajj, Umrah, tourism, and work visas, by automating crucial processes. With a mission to enhance the user's visa journey, the platform introduces technical features to facilitate visa acquisition and management.

KSA Visa embodies modern values and a welcoming mission, positioning itself as a reliable hub for Saudi visa information. Visitors can explore visa options and application processes, ensuring a rich and distinctive user experience.

Aligned with the broader digital transformation journey of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, the GOV.SA platform, linked to KSA Visa, empowers over 50 government agencies and business sectors. It automates key visa steps, contributing to an improved visitor experience.

The platform offers a comprehensive search engine on GOV.SA, providing information on available visas and application procedures. Users benefit from an up-to-date personal file, simplifying future applications.

Saudi Arabia's move coincides with the Gulf Cooperation Council's efforts to create a single tourist ticket for the Gulf, following the mandate from the Doha Summit. In 2023, Saudi Arabia issued over 18.6 million visas, with digital visa processing time reduced to an impressive 60 seconds. Collaborating with 56 countries on digitizing visas, the Kingdom is actively working towards its 2024 tourism goals, aiming for 88 million tourists and significant tourism-related spending and job creation.
