Russian media revealed that Moscow intends to conclude a new military cooperation agreement with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Russian government has ordered the foreign and defense ministries to conduct negotiations with Saudi Arabia to conclude a new agreement for military cooperation between the two countries, according to Russia Today, the Russian government’s news site.
The agreement, published by the government on February 19, includes the exchange of views and data on issues of mutual interest in the military field, combating terrorism, combating piracy, troop training, and military education.
It also includes exchanging views and data on culture and sports, military medicine, military history, relief operations at sea, and other directions of cooperation agreed between the two parties.
According to Russia Today, this agreement is supposed to be implemented by organizing mutual visits of delegations and experts, training military cadres, and holding joint exercises and exercises.
The agreement stipulates that both parties will bear their expenses under this agreement, in the event that they fail to reach additional agreements in this regard.
