Category: Expats

According to the Deputy Director General of Passports, the Jawazat has received requests to extend Umrah visas for sick individuals from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

It has been stated by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah that it is not possible to modify the date of the issued Umrah permit, and the solution to this is to cancel the permit 6 hours before the specified date in the permit via the Eatmarna application and reserve a new one.

- According to the Ministry of Health, non-vaccinated people may pray in the two holy mosques and apply for Umrah permits through the Eatmarna application, provided they are not infected or in contact with someone infected with Corona virus.

In a recent statement, the Ministry stated that pilgrims coming from abroad have the freedom to move between Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Madina Al-Munawarrah, and the rest of the Kingdom during their stay.

Meanwhile, the commander of the Umrah Security Forces, Major General Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Basami, has urged all Umrah companies to cooperate with the security authorities and inform pilgrims of the need to respect appointment dates and follow guidance and instructions for managing and organizing pedestrians.

He reiterated that the Ministry of Interior and its security departments will maintain the security and safety of pilgrims and visitors during the last ten days of Ramadan so they can spend time in the Two Holy Mosques in a spiritual and reassuring manner.
