In Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched the new Saudi website for Makkah and Madina, "nusuk.sa", which is a unified government platform. As part of the "Guests of the Most Merciful" program, one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030, it aims to improve pilgrim experience and ease procedures for their arrival from all over the world.
Using Nusuk's platform, visitors from outside Saudi Arabia will be able to obtain Umrah and visit visas online.
To help pilgrims and visitors perform Umrah rituals easily and comfortably, Nusuk provides a wide range of services and information to them. In order to achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, Nusuk is committed to raising the quality of services provided and enriching their religious and cultural experiences.
In cooperation and partnership with the Saudi Tourism Authority, Nusuk has been launched as part of the "Spirit of Saudi Arabia" platform. With its aim to enrich the journey of Rahman's guests, to facilitate reservation and communication procedures, and to provide various packages and programs to enhance the experience of visitors to Makkah and Madina, Nusuk is linked to the services provided on the "Spirit of Saudi Arabia."
In addition to providing the necessary visas and permits and booking packages and programs online for those wishing to perform Umrah or visit, Nusuk.sa will also provide a range of other services later, including interactive maps, a calendar dedicated to offers and activities, an online guide for all instructions in several languages, health information and services, as well as the ability for service providers to offer their services online.
Maqam will continue to be able to design Umrah service programs until all its services are transferred to Nusuk at a later date.
According to Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, the Minister for Hajj and Umrah, the Nusuk platform is an extension of ongoing efforts to improve the quality of services available to pilgrims through the use of modern technologies and in collaboration with several government agencies to facilitate and ease procedures and allow pilgrims and visitors to perform their rituals with confidence, ease, and with the aim of enriching their faith journey.
Mr. Ahmed bin Aqil Al-Khatib, the Minister of Tourism, stressed the importance of Nusuk within the framework of cooperation and integration between the authority and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah under the umbrella of the program to serve Rahman's guests and achieve Saudi Vision 2030's objectives, namely to make Umrah procedures easier and to provide pilgrims with the best services.
