Need To Upgrade The Saudi Mortgage System Stressed

Justice Minister and President of the Supreme Judicial Council Walid bin Mohammed Al-Samaani, has ordered the update of mortgages to e-mortgages during the first quarter of 2020, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The ministry is seeking to improve the quality of services, promote reliability and eliminate paperwork in line with its digital transformation plan. It has completed the final procedures for the transition to e-mortgages, which will be an alternative for paper-based mortgages in any new real estate transaction.
Customers will receive text messages including data on their mortgages and the “Najiz” portal, where there will be one area for all their real estate that they can access any time from anywhere.
