The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a forecast indicating that the capital city of Riyadh, along with numerous governorates and towns in the Riyadh region, is poised to experience torrential rains and high-speed winds on Monday. This weather event is anticipated to be accompanied by hail showers, potentially leading to reduced horizontal visibility in affected areas. Preliminary signs of this impending weather phenomenon were evident on Sunday evening, with light to moderate rainfall observed in the capital city.
According to the NCM's projections, the inclement weather is expected to impact various areas including Dawadmi, Al-Rain, Al-Quwayiyah, Afif, Al-Zulfi, Al-Ghat, Al-Majma’ah, Shaqraa, Diriyah, Thadiq, Huraymila, Rumah, Dharma, Marat, Al-Aflaj, Al-Salil, and Wadi Al-Dawasir.
In response to the forecast, the Civil Defense has issued a call to the public, urging them to exercise utmost vigilance and caution during these adverse weather conditions. It is imperative for individuals to adhere strictly to the guidelines and instructions provided by the competent authorities to ensure their safety and well-being.
