Starting 20th February, 2022, the General Corporation of King Fahd Causeway has announced an update to the health procedures for entering the Kingdom of Bahrain from Saudi Arabia.

As of February 20, 2022, it was decided to discontinue the PCR test for Corona virus upon entering Bahrain through the King Fahd Causeway for all age groups of travelers.

In addition, the authority explained that entry into Saudi Arabia must be accompanied by a PCR test for Corona virus within 48 hours from the date of departure, with the exception of those under the age of eight years old.

Earlier this month, the King Fahd Foundation announced that Saudi citizens who wish to leave the Kingdom need to take the third booster dose of the Corona vaccine, especially after having received the second dose.
