King, Crown Prince Offer Condolences To Pakistani President

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman sent a cable of condolences to Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain following a suicide attack at an election rally, in southwestern Pakistan, resulting in deaths and injuries, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said Saturday.

In his cable, the Monarch said: “We have received the news of the suicide attack that targeted an election rally, in the southwest of the country, resulting in deaths and injuries and as we condemn and disapprove of this criminal act, we share with your excellency and the fraternal people of Pakistan, the grief of the incident, expressing, on behalf of the people and the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and on my own behalf, to you, the families of the dead and the people of Pakistan, our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy. We pray that Almighty Allah have mercy on the souls of the dead, and grant the injured a speedy recovery and that He ward off any mischief that may target Pakistan and its brotherly people.”

Meanwhile, Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, sent a similar cable of condolences to President Hussain following the suicide attack at an election rally, in southwestern Pakistan.

In his cable the Crown Prince said: “I received the news of the suicide attack that targeted an election rally, in the southwest of the country, resulting in deaths and injuries. I send to you, the people of Pakistan and the families of the dead, my deepest condolences, praying to the Almighty to bestow His mercy upon the souls of the dead and grant the injured a speedy recovery.”
