As of Tuesday, 22nd November 2022, the Air Suvidha form will no longer be required for incoming international passengers. A Covid-19 vaccination self-declaration form had to be filled out by incoming international travelers to India.
As stated in a statement from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, "Due to the sustained decline in the Covid-19 vaccination trajectory as well as significant improvements in the coverage of the vaccine both globally and in India, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has revised its guidelines for international arrivals
As per revised guidelines of the Indian health ministry, the submission of self-declaration forms on the Air Suvidha portal has been discontinued. In light of Covid-19, it may need to be revised if necessary.
As per the country's approved primary schedule for vaccination against Corona virus, the health ministry recommended that all passengers should preferably be fully vaccinated.
- Travelers must follow flight announcements regarding masks and other protective measures.
- Guidelines suggest that those with covid-19 symptoms during a journey should be isolated, wear masks, be separated from other passengers, and then be transferred to an isolation facility.
