GASCO, the National Gas and Industrialization Company, has recently announced a price hike of SR1 per cylinder for cooking gas or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in Saudi Arabia. GASCO, in a statement posted on the Saudi Stock Exchange (TADAWUL), revealed that it has received a letter from the Ministry of Energy regarding the adjustment in selling prices of LPG, effective from Sunday, June 11.

According to the announcement, the new price for refilling a gas cylinder is SR19.85, which includes value-added tax (VAT). However, this price does not include transportation charges from distribution stations to sales outlets. GASCO has assured that these price changes will not significantly affect the company's net income in the future.

Previously, the price for refilling a gas cylinder was SR18.85, inclusive of VAT but excluding transportation charges.

As per GASCO's recent announcement, the prices of cooking gas per cylinder in Saudi Arabia have increased by SR1. This adjustment, initiated by the Ministry of Energy, aims to reflect current market conditions. Consumers should be aware of these changes and plan their gas expenses accordingly.
