Three first-class European clubs expressed their desire to sign a deal with Saudi national team player Saud Abdulhamid after watching his brilliant performance as a Saudi defender during the first and second rounds of the group stage of the World Cup 2022 against Argentina and Poland.
A well-informed source told Okaz/Saudi Gazette that two English clubs and a Spanish club will present Al-Hilal club after the World Cup, with the intention of signing a contract with Saud during the winter or summer if his club accepts their best offer.
Saud moved from Al-Ittihad to Al-Hilal during the last winter transfer season following a joint agreement between the two clubs' administrations. After the Ittihad administration confirmed that the club would not be renewing the player's contract, the player was released.
He joined Al-Hilal on a free transfer and signed a professional contract that ends in January 2025, during which he will receive approximately SR4.2 million per season, along with a house and a car.
