Extreme Heat Wave Hits Dammam: Temperatures Soar To 50°C In The Shade

Hussein Al-Qahtani, spokesman for the National Center of Meteorology (NMC), revealed that Dammam has recorded scorching temperatures, reaching 50 degrees Celsius in the shade during the recent heat wave.
In a statement on his X account on Thursday, Al-Qahtani said, “We expect the heat waves to continue over the coming period. The Eastern Province and Riyadh regions are the most affected, and we are still in the first quarter of the summer season.”
According to the weather forecast released by the NMC on Wednesday, the regions of Riyadh and the Eastern Province will continue to experience hot to very hot weather. Additionally, parts of the Makkah region and the Eastern Province will be impacted by active winds causing dust.
