During Last 10 Days Of Ramadan, No Permit Is Required For Prayer At Two Holy Mosques
Category: Ramadan

On Monday, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah clarified that for the last ten days of Ramadan, no permit is required to offer prayers at the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah.

In response to inquiries from worshipers, the Department for Beneficiary Care Service under the ministry announced this on its official Twitter account. "Prayers can be performed in the Two Holy Mosques without a permit, provided that worshipers do not have Coronavirus infection or contact with someone who has it," the statement said.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Hajj announced that a permit is mandatory either to perform Umrah or visit the Rawdah Sharif at the Prophet's Mosque, and an appointment shall be made through Nusuk or Tawakkalna, provided no Coronavirus infection or contact with an infected individual has occurred.
