14.1 Percent Of Saudi Nationals Are Smokers

A nationwide survey has revealed that 14.1 percent of Saudi nationals aged more than 15 years are smokers.
The Saudi General Authority for Statistics (STATS) conducted the study to find out the overall rate of smoking among the Saudi population.
The rate of smoking among the non-Saudi population is even higher, standing at 16.6 %.
According to the official study, the 51.6% of Saudis age above 40 are suffering from diabetes.
Meanwhile, 8.5% of the overall population of Saudi Arabia are diabetic – 8.7% among males and 8.3% among females
