In an endeavor to enhance the process of hiring seasonal workers for the revered Hajj season, Saudi Arabia has launched the "Ajeer Al-Hajj" program for the year 1445 AH, under the auspices of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD).

Muhammad Al-Rizqi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Human Resources, highlights that the "Hajj Ajeer" service simplifies procedures, offers seasonal employment opportunities, and bolsters businesses by facilitating increased workforce availability.

The primary objective of this initiative is to elevate the quality of services provided to pilgrims at sacred sites, aiming to enhance their overall experience while offering flexible employment solutions for enterprises.

Saudi citizens and resident expatriates interested in participating in seasonal employment during the holy month of Hajj can apply for jobs through the "Ajeer" portal.

By serving as an intermediary between job seekers and employers, the platform streamlines processes, ensuring convenience for all parties involved throughout the duration of the Hajj season.

The Ministry encourages Saudis and residents aspiring to work at the Holy Sites during Hajj to submit their CVs via the “Bab Ajeer” platform. This centralized platform facilitates the connection between job seekers and vacancies, contributing to the organization and simplification of procedures for establishments and workers during the Hajj seasons.

Participating companies are mandated by the ministry to provide seasonal workers with a Hajj permit, emphasizing the legal consequences for non-compliance with this requirement.
