Saudi Arabia Urges Muslims To Sight The Crescent Of Dhu Al Hijjah On Wednesday

On Wednesday evening, June 29, the Saudi Supreme Court has urged all Muslims in the Kingdom to observe the crescent moon of the Islamic month of Dhu Al Hijjah.
According to the court, Muslims should seek to see the new moon during Dhu Al Hijjah, when the annual Hajj pilgrimage is performed. On the 10th of Dhu Al Hijjah, Eid Al Adha is celebrated.
Anyone seeing the crescent with their naked eye or with a telescope is urged to register a testimony at the nearest court or reach out to the nearest center for assistance in getting to the nearest court.
