Riyadh Air, the innovative new Saudi airline, has revealed a captivating second livery for its aircraft, and the unveiling was nothing short of groundbreaking – conducted entirely in the realm of virtual reality.
Even though the aircraft featuring the new iridescent, almost pearly white, livery was not physically present at the Dubai Airshow's opening on Monday, Riyadh Air CEO Tony Douglas utilized mixed-reality to showcase the mesmerizing design.
“We will have them on all our 787s and our narrow bodies,” Douglas announced.
The brand's commitment to an unparalleled guest experience and its status as a true digital native, unburdened by legacy systems, sets Riyadh Air apart. Douglas emphasized, "It's a brand that stands for commercial aviation and environmental sustainability, two pillars that define the brand today."
This announcement follows the airline's initial reveal of an all-indigo livery at the Paris Airshow in June, highlighting Riyadh Air's commitment to aesthetics and innovation in the aviation industry.
