The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia has issued crucial guidelines for pilgrims and worshippers to ensure the safety of their belongings within the revered premises of the Prophet's Mosque (Masjid Al-Nabawi) in Madina.

Here are the 5 rules to safeguard your luggage:

Small Bags: Pilgrims are advised against bringing small luggage bags into the prayer halls of the Prophet's Mosque. Instead, these bags can be securely stored in the external safes provided.

Large Luggage: Larger luggage bags are not permitted within the Prophet's Mosque or its courtyards. They also cannot be stored in safety deposit boxes. However, safety luggage boxes are conveniently available in the outer courtyards of Masjid Al-Nabawi.

For the convenience of pilgrims from Pakistan, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has introduced new services to streamline the process of obtaining an electronic Umrah visa:

Visa Entry: Pilgrims from Pakistan are now allowed entry through various types of entry visas.

Quick Visa Issuance: Acquiring an Umrah visa has become quicker and simpler through the Nusuk platform, often in under 24 hours.

Extended Visa Duration: The Umrah visa duration has been extended from 30 to 90 days.

The Ministry also offers the ease of pre-booking housing and accommodation services via Nusuk, along with a reduction in insurance fees from 235 riyals to 88 riyals.

Follow these simple steps to register on the Nusuk platform for your e-Visa:

1. Download the Nusuk application.
2. Visit nusuk.sa and click on "Apply for Visa."
3. Select your nationality.
4. Click on the "Apply for e-Visa" icon.
5. Follow the required information icon.
6. Proceed by clicking "Next" and follow the on-screen instructions for your visa application.
