Upon the directive of the Presidency President Sheikh Dr. Abdurrahman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, the roof of the Grand Mosque has been prepared for worshipers and visitors to the Haram, with all services, to open it for worshipers and Umrah performers.
According to the Presidency, all services provided to visitors to the Grand Mosque on the roof are ready. In addition to allocating (330) human cadres working to organize and manage the crowds according to the Ramadan plan, the balconies overlooking the Mataf will be allocated to Umrah performers and the balconies behind the balconies to worshipers.
As well, all escalators, elevators, and the sound system are fully operational and are being supervised by an expert team to ensure that they are being implemented in accordance with technical principles and are free of any defects.
The Kingdom's government takes care of the Two Holy Mosques, pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors by providing this level of readiness and supervision.
According to the Presidency, since the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan, 48 gates have been allocated for worshipers to enter, including 17 gates in the 3rd Saudi expansion, 23 gates in King Fahd's expansion, and seven gates in the Mas'a area, as well as the Ajyad bridge gate.
In addition, it has allocated (38) gates for Umrah performers to enter the Grand Mosque, including (13) gates in King Fahd's expansion, (6) gates in King Abdulaziz's (Ajyad) area, and (19) gates in the Mas'a area.
Furthermore, there are (4) gates for emergency services for Umrah pilgrims as well as (10) gates dedicated to services in addition to (600) gate monitors in preparation for the opening of stairway 91, gate 84, gate 78, gate 74 and gate 70.
