The National Platform for Domestic Worker Services in the Kingdom (Musaned) has revealed the conditions for obtaining an alternative compensatory visa in the event of domestic workers leaving the Kingdom on a final exit within 90 days of their arrival.
Conditions for Obtaining the Alternative Visa
Among the key conditions for this visa are:
- The domestic worker must have been deported during the probationary period within 90 days of their arrival.
- The number of visas issued must not exceed the maximum allowed by the system.
- The alternative visa must be requested within two years of the worker's departure.
- The worker’s status in the Absher system must be set as a final exit, with the worker already outside the Kingdom.
- The alternative visa is only issued to compensate for a basic visa, not for replacing another compensatory visa.
Professions Eligible for the Alternative Visa
The alternative compensatory visa applies to specific professions, including domestic worker, female domestic worker, and private driver. This visa can be issued through the employer's account on the Musaned platform.
